Is The ApexZ The Right Airborne Particle Counter For You?

ApexZ3

An airborne particle counter only needs to know two things to begin sampling: where it is and how long to sample. From there, it should be built around ease of use and reliability. You should be able to trust that your airborne particle counter is working for you and not the other way around. You deserve to know that your equipment does not need you constantly checking in on it for it to do its job. That’s where the ApexZ comes in.

Built from over 40 years of problem-based learning in the cleanroom industry, this airborne particle counter is the solution. So what exactly does the ApexZ have to offer?

Sample Settings

Are you ready for your Sampling Day? The ApexZ is! With its fully customizable, easy-to-use sample settings, you can match your current SOPs and eliminate the risk of missing a location or sampling the wrong parameters.

User Management

The ApexZ has ten distinct user levels to increase efficiency. You can customize permissions to match your current user management procedures. With the ten customizable permission levels and groups, you can have up to 1,000 users within the active directory and local use.

Configure the ApexZ Using Xchange

Want to set up the ApexZ from the comfort of your office? Complete instrument configuration on LMS XChange allows you to do just that! You can save the file locally, on a USB, or on a network drive. With user accessibility at the forefront of design, setting up the ApexZ is a breeze.

Simple Cloning for Fleet Management

If you need to clone files across a fleet of instruments, not only does the ApexZ offer that… It offers fleet management through multiple mediums. You can manage your fleet over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or using a USB drive. It allows for simple expansion and configurations that only need to be set up once.

Ergonomics and Portability

At 7.05 pounds, the ApexZ is the smallest, lightest, and quietest portable particle counter on the market. Its dimensions are 12.76″ x 6.23″ x 8.88″.

Battery Life

With its dual batteries’ quick recharge time and high capacity, the ApexZ is easily movable and does not need wall power. It has up to 11 hours of runtime and only a 90-minute recharge to 80%! It can also operate on only one battery and use an external charger, so you never have to worry about your portable particle counter dying again.

Sealed Enclosure

The ApexZ is not only designed with user ease in mind but also easy cleaning. We understand the need to disinfect cleanrooms, so the Apex Z is fully sealed and allows for disinfection without the worry of damaging the equipment. It is rated IP54.

False Positive Risk Reduction

Want to eliminate the risk of false positives? The ApexZ offers a one-click zero count. The test is logged in the audit trail but not your data records

Grid View

The ApexZ offers a visual representation of the locations you have sampled and what locations are next on its built-in screen. You can change locations with one click. This Grid View eliminates the risk of a missed location! The Grid color changes based on status:

  • Green = Sample complete
  • Blue = Sampling
  • Grey = Needs to be sampled
  • Orange = Warning Exceeded
  • Red= Alarm Exceeded

Barcoding

The ApexZ allows for bar code use for integration with your software and eliminates the use of technician entry error.

Data Tags

With ApexZ data tag options, you can add up to five customizable fields to your data. It allows for the prompt pre-and post- sample. You are then able to filter data based on custom-defined criteria!

Lighted Handle For Status And Alarms

The ApexZ lighted handle allows the operator to walk away from the instrument while sampling and know the status from a 360-degree view even when out of audible range.

Self Diagnostics

The ApexZ has the industry’s most advanced onboard self-diagnostics. It continuously monitors seven internal parameters and sounds an early warning of any potential issues. If a sensor issue is detected during sampling, the data will be tagged as bad data. With this feature, you can rest easy knowing that your equipment is working and providing you uncompromised data.

Audit Trail

The audit trail tracks every interaction that could impact data integrity. It ties the actions to the users. The audit trail is easily exported using whichever method is easiest for you! Options include USB, CIFS, and XChange. You can also add comments to audit trails at any time using either the ApexZ itself or XChange.

Data Records

The Data provided by the ApexZ and XChange comply with the ALCOA + Framework. The ApexZ Data is:

  • Attributable
