Improves the testing of clean air hoods, Microbiological Safety Cabinets, isolators, and any installed HEPA filter where the mixing distance permitted is short, resulting in a poorly mixed aerosol challenge.  
The DOP Filter Test requires that the challenge aerosol is fully mixed in the system air stream by the time the challenge reaches the HEPA filter. In practice, this may be difficult to achieve.  
The Sparge Pipe Kit provides the tools to ensure good aerosol distribution at the point of injection. Correctly applied this allows challenge aerosols to be introduced as close as 1 meter from the filter and still achieve a homogeneous aerosol challenge. 
This is an extensive kit filled with sparge pipes and fittings of different lengths and hole configurations, duct tape, paper towel, silicon grease, sample and  inject  ports, to allow the assembly to suit most installation requirements.  
Once used the sparge pipes are removed from the system under test and stored in the easy to carry transport bag. 
The Sparge Pipe Kit is designed to work in conjunction with the Positive Injection Pump (PIP) to distribute aerosol at high velocity to assist mixing. 
The Sparge Pipe Kit is designed to fit our Aerosol Injection Ports allowing for easy and secure insertion.
