Total Organic Carbon
Total Organic Carbon (TOC) is a method that can be used to monitor the purity of DI water for the presence of organic molecules that do not ionize. If the organic contaminant does not ionize, it is undetectable by a conductivity monitor. If it is insoluble, it will not form droplets and so will be undetectable by a liquid particle counter. TOC analyzers provide near real time, low part per billion-sensitivity detection and monitoring for organic molecules. We offer TOC analyzers that are designed for ultra-pure water monitoring.
Resistivity / Conductivity
Deionized water and other fluids can become contaminated with ionizable contamination, which increases the conductivity of the fluid. In these cases, fluid conductivity meters or in-line ion specific electrodes prove to be cost effective continuous monitoring methods. We provide resistivity/conductivity sensors to monitor all stages of a water purification system.
